This attractive crystal trinket box is etched with a design inspired by the work of the famous Scottish architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Mackintosh was well known as a prominent member of the Arts and Crafts movement in Scotland. This took influence from the the Art Nouveau movement with its fluid lines and stylisation of organic form which is realised in the rose and leaf patterns etched on this piece. These motifs are typical of Mackintosh's signature style.
The trinket box comes in a presentation box, making it a lovely gift for a special occasion. Alternatively it would make a stylish but useful addition to your home as it can be used to store small jewellery items and treasures.
